Our prayers for our countrymen in Visayas and Mindanao region in the Philippines for the arrival of the Supertyphoon Haiyan (locally-named Yolanda), now deemed as one of the strongest storms to ever reach the globe.

This video clip in Tacloban City shows the fearful onslaughts of this storm.

Earlier this week, the Philippine Pressident Noynoy Aquino and DILG Chief Mar Roxas have mobilized different concerned agencies and local government units. Local citizens were advised to evacuate as soon as they can before the Friday arrival of the supertyphoon Yolanda.

In times like these, we can only depend to the Almighty Creator. An hourly community prayer is available at the website of Members Church of God International (MCG) or Ang Dating Daan at www.mcgi.org/cp.

Over at the Public Service Channel, UNTV and Radyo La Verdad or UNTV Radio, a Community Prayer will soon be aired to encourage people to pray.

Schedules are already announced as follows: 4:00 a.m., 12 n.n., 8:10 p.m., 10 p.m., and 12 m.n. Both the 10 p.m. and 12 m.n prayer schedules are in English and the rest are in Filipino.

Ang Dating Daan radio and television host Bro. Eliseo Soriano spearheads the service, together with Daniel Razon, the current CEO, through UNTV.

Ang Dating Daan or The Old Path celebrated its 33rd anniversary, with the theme, “Building a Prayerful Nation Through Broadcast Evangelization”.
